Our younger students discover evapotranspiration through art creations!

Compost tea

 Many years along there are Compost bins in our school yard.

It is the first time that we use compost to feed our garden.

We also bought some mature manure and we prepared a compost tea for our small vegetables.

We put 1 kg compost remains in 1 lt water and 1 spoon honey.

We also  put 1 kg mature manure in 1lt water with 1 spoon honey.

We waited for 2 days and then our magic juice was ready.

symmetrical shapes, symmetrical vegetable salad and ... good appetite!

Our students made symmetrical shapes like mandalas in the yard with leaves, woods,stones,  After that they explored symmetry around us, in nature. They disconered circles and spheres in solar system and in universe.

They also enjoed drawing and colouring with symmetrical shapes.

After that they explored symmetry in nature and finally they produced a very special symmetrical salad!

They  enjoyed it and showed us how art can be combined with gastronomy!
